DR DOS 5.0 vs. MS-DOS 5 Upgrade
═══════════════════════════════
Digital Research is well-known for pioneering standards in operating
systems for microcomputers. With the introduction of DR DOS 5.0 in May
1990, Digital Research again introduced a leading-edge technology DOS
with major features that both add value and enhance any system's
performance. The following is a comparison of DR DOS 5.0 and the
recently announced and available MS-DOS 5 Upgrade.
The following tables provide an objective analysis of the features of
these products. They highlight memory management and overall system
optimization, ease of use, disk management and optimization and data
security and file sharing.
